How we do it
We get asked all the time how we are able to travel so much. Airbnb is one of the tools we use to help keep costs down. Recently we were able to spend a month traveling all over Europe. There were only a couple of nights that cost us more than $100, and we were traveling with 2 kids!! We have stayed in many different kinds of Airbnbs from a single room in an apartment in the center of Barcelona, to a 200 year old converted barn in the hills of France. Each experience is special and unique!

Live Like a Local
One of the best things about Airbnb is getting to live like a local. We love checking out different neighborhoods and seeing how people in foreign places live. It’s often more than just a room to sleep in. Airbnb creates a real connection between the traveler and the destination.
Hosts are often full of great ideas on where to go, what to eat, and what to do. I love asking where the best local places to eat are. At one Airbnb we asked our host if we could use an outdoor grill, and she told us of a super cool spot down along the river, with a fire pit, and a shelter stocked with wood. We would have never found that on our own!
Because of Airbnb we have been able to have real authenic experiences in foreign places. We have met the neighbors, made friends, and created life long memories just by choosing Airbnb for our lodging!
